Board of Director Nominations

Help shape your cooperative. If you pay a Lower Valley Energy bill you are also an owner of Lower Valley Energy, your energy cooperative. Any Lower Valley Energy cooperative member residing in Districts 3 or 4 is eligible to run for a Board of Director seat this year.

District #3 comprises all areas north of Lincoln County Road 119, east of Highway 89 through Alpine Junction and includes Hoback Junction north to Little Horsethief Canyon as well as the Bondurant and Green River Lakes area.
District #4 comprises all areas north of the Teton/Lincoln County boundary and west of Hwy 89 and Fall Creek, consisting of Crescent H and Indian Paintbrush. Grand Teton National Park serves as the northern boundary, including Wilson, Teton Pines, John Dodge and Teton Village.
The Lower Valley Energy Annual Meeting will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Afton office. Election results are announced at the Annual Meeting.
Prospective Board members should submit a petition with signatures from any ten (10) LVE members. Petitions may be obtained from either office (or by clicking here for District 3 or here for District 4) and must be returned to either Lower Valley Energy office by 5:00 pm, April 27, 2012.
