Lineman Help Out California

Print(November 26, 2018) Afton, WY – Lower Valley Energy, your local energy cooperative, responded to a call for aid and sent 4 linemen to help with the wildfire disasters in California. The 4 linemen come from the Afton and Jackson districts and drove down with equipment to help in the rebuilding of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) system in California.
A similar regional mutual assistance agreement enabled Lower Valley Energy to receive so much help, so quickly, when the Teton Village transmission line blew down in February, 2017.
Our linemen are expected to help out in California for at least 2-5 weeks. We wish them the best and safe travels.
