If you encounter an emergency with any of the following, please call 9-1-1 first:
- Overhead power lines
- Underground lines and/or natural gas
- Odor from a natural gas leak
- Hitting a power pole
- Hitting a transformer/vault
Your safety is our number one priority.
Remember to call 811 before we do any digging. A locator will come out and mark all underground utilities.
Check for power lines whenever working from ladders or scaffolding, especially metal ones.
Always be aware when required to get on a roof for any reason.
Be careful when carrying or lifting tall objects such as ladders or sprinkler pipe.
Don’t fly kites or climb trees by power lines.
Be careful in trimming or pruning trees.
Be careful when operating machinery or other tall equipment like grain augers or dump trucks.
