Due to an increase in commodity costs for natural gas, the Lower Valley Energy Board of Directors has made the necessary decision to increase rates for the fuel type. The commodity cost is a component that makes up a large part of the natural gas rate and is something that is monitored daily. As of January 16, 2022, natural gas rates will increase approximately $0.0508 per therm. Our new rates still remain below other fuel sources such as propane. As your energy provider, we want you to know that we are doing everything we can to keep your rates as low as possible.
