Natural Gas Rates Reduced 8%

(September 26, 2022) Afton, WY – Lower Valley Energy is pleased to announce a natural gas rate decrease, effective October 1, 2022. In a continued effort to provide the lowest cost energy to its member owners, the Lower Valley Energy Board of Directors voted last week for a natural gas rate decrease of approximately 10.68 cents. Depending on your rate class, the decreases is approximately 8%.

The decline Is based on Lower Valley’s hedging activities and a recent decline in wholesale natural gas prices.
