Lower Valley Energy (LVE) has added a new interactive map tool to its website, giving members a fast and convenient way to determine which board director district they reside in. The tool is now live and accessible directly from the Board of Directors page at www.lvenergy.com/about-us/board-of-directors/.
What the Tool Does
The interactive map allows members to explore Lower Valley Energy’s full service territory in a visual, user-friendly format. More importantly, members can enter their address 9or navigate the service territory map) directly into the tool to instantly see which director district they fall within. This takes the guesswork out of understanding cooperative boundaries and district lines, which have historically required members to review detailed written descriptions or contact the office directly.
Why It Matters
Lower Valley Energy is a member-owned cooperative, and one of the most important rights members hold is the ability to vote in — and run for — board elections. The cooperative’s board is divided into seven geographic districts, with each district represented by an elected board member. Knowing your district is essential to participating in the democratic process that guides how the cooperative operates.
With board seats for Districts 1, 2, 6, and 7 up for election in 2026, the timing of this new tool couldn’t be better. Whether you’re considering running for a seat or simply want to know who represents your area, the map tool puts that information at your fingertips.

- Enter your service address in the search field at the top right.
- The map will display your location and identify your director district.
Members can also browse the full service territory map to get a broader view of how districts are laid out across the region.
Important Note for Members with Multiple Service Locations
Members who have more than one service location should be aware that voting district is determined by primary service location — not all locations on an account. If you are unsure which address is your primary service location, or if you have questions about your district assignment, contact Lower Valley Energy customer service directly at 307-885-3175 before relying solely on the map tool for verification.
