Lower Valley Energy Board Meeting RECAP – April 30, 2026

Our Board of Directors met today in Jackson for our April board meeting! Here’s a look at what was on the agenda:

2025 Audit Report — Our auditors presented the annual financial review, confirming LVE’s sound financial position heading into 2026.

Copper Line Replacement Planning — Engineering staff presented plans to replace aging copper infrastructure, part of our ongoing commitment to system reliability across the valley.

Vegetation Management & AI Technology — We’re using AI Dash technology to help prioritize and manage right-of-way clearing — smarter tools to reduce outages and fire risk this summer.

Crews Hard at Work — Multiple contractor crews are actively working throughout the region on line reconductoring, underground cable replacement, and tree trimming from Alpine to Jackson.

Gas Expansion Update — The Crow Creek pipeline project is wrapping up, and planning is underway for the route from Afton to Alpine.
