Working Foreman

Lower Valley Energy is seeking a Working Foreman for our Jackson district to perform supervisory and skilled field work related to the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of Lower Valley Energy’s electrical transmission and distribution system and associated utility infrastructure. The Foreman will lead and work alongside assigned crews in the safe, efficient, and professional completion of work while ensuring compliance with cooperative policies, safety rules, operating procedures, and utility best practices.

Education and experience required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman Lineman with a minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission and distribution systems.
• Previous leadership or crew supervision experience preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
