Community Solar
PrintEnergy Conservation Works and Lower Valley Energy are partnering to develop Wyoming's first residential community solar project.
Lower Valley Energy members will have the opportunity to join the program by purchasing shares of a nearby solar farm. Community solar members will receive a bill credit for the amount of electricity that their panel produces. The program works in the same way as having rooftop solar panels, except there’s no need to own a roof and the upfront cost is lower. Renters are encouraged to join.
We are hoping to have shares available in Summer 2025. The size of the solar farm will limit supply, but we expect demand to exceed supply. In the meantime, sign up to receive program updates.
